We're glad you decided to give your heart and life to Jesus Christ and to connect with you new Faith Church Family! Here are a few things that may be helpful to strengthen your connection:
When we meet
Sunday Service begins at 11 AM and typically ends between 12:30 and 12:45PM.
Sunday School and New Member's Classes begin at 9:30 AM and can be accessed through the main sanctuary.
Bible Study for adults and teens takes place each Tuesday from 7 to 8PM.
Our choirs rehearse every Sunday after morning worship and each Thursday at 7PM.
Who do I contact if I have a question or need assistance with something?
Our receptionist's hours are from Monday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm and closed on Fridays. Our Pastor can also be reached through the main office number 352 375 4850. Media product orders, transportation need and any other general questions can all be accessed through the main office number. Please refer to our "Staff" page on this website for individual email addresses and other contact information.
Giving
All of the financial ministry need of our church are provided for by the regular financial contributions of our members. We do not hold fund raisers, collect "dues" or have assessments for special events. We ask that you give as God has prospered you and in accordance to God's plan for financing His Church. We believe that plan includes "tenth giving" and "free will" offerings. Giving occurs at the end of each service as we exit the sanctuary. Envelope are provided on the inside of our weekly church bulletins that are handed out when you enter the sanctuary.
Church Business Meetings
We only hold meetings on an "as needed" basis with an annual "update" meeting held each year in January.
How we are structured
We are a "Spirit Led" Church. We trust the leadership of our senior pastor and the leadership to that he selects annually to work along side of him. We have a board of directors that helps to oversee financial planning and ministry decisions to enhance our ability to serve our community and members. We have a team of district leaders who communicate with every member at least twice per month by phone or email just to make certain that we all stay connected and our "family" atmosphere is maintained.
How offices are held
We rotate leadership annually for every group within the church family. This insures that everyone gets a chance to funtion in a leadership position at some point if they feel led and can do so. We enjoy fresh ideas and new ways of doing things that honor God and uplift people.
